BEIJING, Aug. 1 (Xinhua) -- Chinese shares gained 0.94 percent on Friday, erasing earlier losses, amid prospect of favorable policies, analysts said. The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index edged up 0.94 percent, or 26.1 points, to end at 2,801.82
